A freebie for you - Animal Collective new album "Feels" streams commercial free at Radio-Indie-Pop this month

There are other reasons to check out Radio-Indie-Pop (http:///www.radio-indie-pop.com), but this month they are doing a free, (and commericial-free) un-interrupted high-fi stream of New York freak folkers Animal Collective's newest album, Feels. (Fat Cat Records, October 18th, 2005.)

If you like Modest Mouse, Mercury Rev, Flaming Lips, etc. I think you're gonna like it. Go to the site, click on album of the month and veg out for a bit. I haven't heard weird sound so pretty in a while.

so i'm not the only one who gets the guys emails every week or so ;)

Animal Collective are playing First Ave (yeah, i scratched my head as to how they're going to fill the Mainroom as well) on Feb 26nd. Considering they played to a not very full Triple Rock (from what i heard anyway) last year, kinda surprising.

Thanks for the info, Kyle. I'll definitely be at the Animal Collective show and will get it added to the calendar as soon as possible.

I also noticed on your site that Nada Surf will be back in town at the Fine Line March 3rd. Whee!

yeah, just found out Rogue Wave (who are at the Triple Rock tomorrow night) are opening that entire tour as well, should be a fantastic double bill.
