Skater-owned and operated flat-track derby league, The North Star Roller Girls, have been rolling their way into Minnesotans’ hearts since they kicked off their inaugural season in October, 2006. Their next bout, Heartbreak-Hers Ball is scheduled for Saturday, February 24th at Cheap Skate Roller Rink in Coon Rapids.

To gear up for the event, the NSRG teams of The Kilmore Girls, Violent Femmes, The Banger Sisters, and Delta Delta Di want to show you they know how to rock as well as roll by hosting a pre-bout bash at the Uptown Bar Friday, February 16th.

Sponsored by HowWasTheShow.com, the evening will feature a great lineup of local talent: Ouija Radio, Screamin' Cyn Cyn and the Pons (Madison), The Slats, and Action Vs. Action. In between bands there will be derby ticket giveaways and drawings for free merch from the girls.
